Patricia Boylan's history of the Club from it's beginnings to the 1980s.

At present there are no facilities to make the Club's Archives widely available. However, realising that the material in the Clubs possession is an important source for Historians and Researchers, it is part of our long-term plan to have this material catalogued and made accessible.

Records include Letters and Correspondence from past members, Committee Minutes, Agenda Books, Exhibition Records, Accounts, and various other materials relating to the Club since its foundation. Serious researchers in the meantime can make inquiries through the Secretary, and we will make every effort to accommodate them.

Patricia Boylan's All Cultivated People published in 1988 tells the story of the Club from its foundation, through the First World War, the Rising, Independence, and the Second World War, to the present day, giving interesting and amusing details about its famous and lesser-known members. Presently out of print to is hoped that a revised edition will be published to co-inside with the celebration to mark the Clubs centenary
